STAFF NEWS

Mrs Bradley – A memory/comment book can be found in the school foyer. Please feel free to come in and write some words for Mrs Bradley to reflect time at Charfield Primary.

SPEEDMARK

A huge Thank you to all who returned their Speedmark sponsorship. The total raised was a whopping £868.22. We will use this amount to help provide our children’s classes with resources.

CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

This morning the whole school was entertained by Year 6 in their performance of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. I was very impressed by the children’s performances; some had soooo many lines to remember.

This evening the children will be performing to their families. I am sure they will be as good, or even better, than this morning.

A big thank you has to go to Miss Wiltshire & Maz for all their efforts in helping the children to get ready.

Well Done Year 6!

DRUM LESSONS

Mr Sanders may have a few spaces in his drum lesson time for children in Key Stage Two in September. If you are interested in your child having drum lessons, please see the office for an information slip.

MUSIC LESSONS IN SCHOOL

A gentle reminder to return lesson slips and money if possible to Mrs Windram by Monday 20th July, please.

MENU CHANGE

Next Tuesday lunch will be homemade sausage roll instead of lamb steaklets. Thursday school lunch will be: chips and pizza or curry followed by chocolate crunch and ice cream.

FRUIT FOR KEY STAGE ONE

Please send your child with fruit for the first two days of term in September, as we have been advised we may not get a delivery on these days.
