CAREERS DAY – 22ND MAY

Thank you to all who have volunteered to talk to our children on Careers Day. Letters were sent out on Wednesday to give volunteers details. If you have volunteered and not received a letter please let the office know. Thank you.

OFSTED

We have today been notified of our Ofsted Inspection which will take place next week. Every family should receive a questionnaire which must be completed and returned to school no later than midday on Thursday 14th May.

MAY FAIR - SATURDAY 9TH MAY 12:00 – 3:00

This years May Fair is approaching! We will again be having many attractions including: music and disco by The Riff Toads; country dancing by the children, rides, bouncy castle, stalls, tombola, games, craft room, military vehicles, fair ground organ, BBQ and refreshments and much, much more

We look forward to seeing you there

BIRTHDAY BOOK SCHEME

Did you know the school runs a birthday book scheme? This is a great way to not only buy a birthday present but also support the school library. If you would like to find out more contact Karen Riley or the school office.

ACHING FEET!

As the end of the year approaches some of our children are or have gone through a growth spurt and as a result some have trainers / daps that are too small for them.

Please could you check that your child has the right footwear for PE as we cannot allow children to do PE in their school shoes.

CROSSING CONCERNS

I am a little concerned about the bad habits a number of children are picking up whilst Wotton Road has been closed. Quite a few staff have told me about children running across the road before and after school without looking or using the crossing. I understand that the road is quieter at the moment but cars are still using this section and when the road re-opens I hope that these bad habits will stop.

LOST PROPERTY

Lost Property will be on display in the new corridor on Monday & Tuesday for reclamation. All remaining property will then be taken to a recycling depot at the end of the week.
