STAFF NEWS

Congratulations to Miss Carroll. Her twin girls, Freya-Jane (3lbs5) & May-Sophia (4lbs3) were born yesterday. Mum and girls are doing well.

TAG RUGBY TASTER SESSIONS

On Thursday all children from Y1 – Y6 took part in a Tag Rugby taster session. The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and gained lots of skills very quickly! I just hope I haven’t accidentally created a new England Rugby Star as they won’t let me through the Toll Booth!

BOOKS FOR SCHOOLS

We have begun collecting tokens that will hopefully give us lots of new books for the school library.

Tokens appear every day in The Times and The Sunday Times.

Please collect as many tokens as you can and give them to your child to bring to school. Tokens can be deposited in our special collection box which is in the school reception area.

Many Thanks for your cooperation

YOUR SCHOOL NEEDS YOU

ON THE SUBJECT OF BOOKS…..

Can anyone spare time to help with reading? We would love to have some more parent (or grandparent) readers.

INVENTORY HELP

I would really appreciate help from someone to update our inventory list of electrical equipment. If you have a morning or afternoon to spare to please let us know in the school office.

FRIENDS FREEZER REQUEST.

Do you have an old Chest freezer that you no longer need or want? If so The Friends are in need of one. We seem to eat far more burgers and hot dogs at our events than they can store in their current one!

Contact the office or Helen England if you can help out. Thank you!

ROAD CLOSURE

Please be advised that Wotton Road will be closed, from its junction with Charfield Road to the county boundary at Watsome Farm, from the 9th February 2009 to 3rd April 2009.

This is to allow for drainage works by Gloucestershire Highways.
