STAFF
NEWSThe Stork is definitely going to be busy with Charfield Staff!
Firstly congratulations to Mrs Gordon and her husband. They are expecting their second child in May. I’m sure Seth is really looking forward to becoming Big Bro!
Secondly we will be without Mrs Rolfe when we return in 2009 as she will have begun her maternity leave. Mrs White, a long term supply teacher for the school, will be temporarily taking her place while we search for a replacement for her.
Thirdly Miss Carroll’s twins should make an appearance in mid January. When I last saw Miss Carroll I was amazed at the size of her belly, so I don’t think we will have to wait long for some news!
Finally Mrs Noall, who is currently working for Bristol as a maths advisor, has informed me that she is expecting her second baby too!!
(The myth of the staff room fertility chair seems to be proving itself right!)

Mrs Southwell will begin teaching Y4 with Mrs Gordon in January. Mrs Southwell (formerly known as Miss Roebuck) will take the class on Thursday’s and Friday’s.
Key Stage 2’s performance of ‘Cinderella & Rockafella’ was the best Junior performance I have ever seen! The acting, singing and scenery were very professional, I thought I was in a theatre production a few times!
Well done to the children and adults for producing such great entertainment.
Did you take any pictures of either performances? I would really appreciate some photos for the school website (I’ve lost my memory card! L).

FINALLY….Thank you to everyone (children & adults) for all your efforts and hard work. I hope you have a restful and enjoyable Christmas and New Year break with family & friends.
