STAFF VACANCIES & NEWS

Miss Carroll – In her last check up Miss Carroll’s doctor ordered her to rest and eat more. Therefore she was been signed off work for the week when she hopes to return. There is also a possibility she may have to begin her maternity leave earlier. I’m sure you will all join me in wishing Miss Carroll and the twins a speedy and relaxing recovery.

ROAD SAFETY

A number of parents have expressed concerns about cars parking on the pavement outside school recently. Please can ALL drivers dropping and collecting children please refrain from using this area to keep all our children safe.

Thank you

FANTASTIC, FABULOUS FIREWORKS!

Friday night was a huge success. I really enjoyed it and was so surprised at the quality of the display (move over Disneyland!)

I would like to thank all who came and supported the event. The amount raised for firework night was £2,918.57!

Credit and a MASSSIVE thank you to all the Friends, especially Rob Melville, Kate and Rich Lewis, Angus Darcy-Drake for donating so much time; the small army of people who supported and helped to run the event (not forgetting the Saturday clean up crew too). Without all these people, this great event would not have been possible to achieve.

Another example of the great community spirit that Charfield possesses.

OUR LIBRARY NEEDS YOU!!

The school library is in need of some kind volunteers to organise the books and update our catalogue. Could you help?

Does anyone have time to volunteer as our librarian until Christmas? It would give our library the boost to get it back into full use again.

CHOCOHOLICS ORDERS

All you chocolate lovers placing orders for Christmas need to do so by Friday 21st November.

LEGO DAY

The children really enjoyed the day, between them they created entire towns and learned the basics of construction. I think we may be seeing a few of our children on Grand Designs in the future!!
