I thought it about time to update you on the progress and success of the Cross Country Club and KLB races.
There are 21 children registered to represent Charfield Primary in the KLB XC series. This is the most I have ever known and has kept me busy!
The club has run very smoothly this year, no behaviour problems, the children are a real pleasure.

My brief experience of coaching children at Bristol & West Athletics Club during the Summer holidays has enabled my confidence to grow. By
not exceeding 25 children and working with year group 3 to 6 the club has become manageable and great fun!

I would like to acknowledge that having been fabulously supported by Karen Messer, Sarah Newnes and Eleanor Sanville the club has not missed
a week since September.

This Saturday, 11th December, the third race takes place. I have been advised that the ground conditions are fine given the recent hard
frosts.

Currently, Charfield Primary School Senior Boys team (Y4 & Y5) are third and Jack D is first Senior Boy in the district (20 Schools). Also fingers
crossed for Patrick G and Rhianna S whose names will be put into a raffle for a Mountain or BMX bike. Ron White the KLB race organiser will be kindly donating these as prizes on Saturday.

Due to the amount of children participating this year it is easier to say how extremely proud I am of all the children, rather than write
individual reports.
There are many new faces this year. Good on you for coming forward. Your comittment to representing your school is AMAZING! Well Done!
